What will the market do now?

What will the real estate market do now that the election is over? Many think we will get a “bump (the latest buzz word)” in the market. It is a good time to stay on the market for many other reasons. One reason is during the upcoming holidays many sellers will go off the market leaving less inventory to choose from. The sellers that stay on the market will have a better chance of going to contract with less competition. In addition, the markets should become more confident as the “bailout” package enters strongly in to the market place. Another reason is the low interest rates for buyers at this time.
